Article 16

Deletion of Personal Data

Personal data will be eliminated after the end of its processing, within the scope and the technical limits of the activities, being authorized the maintanance for the following purposes:

I - compliance with legal or regulatory obligation by the controller;
II - study by research body, ensuring, whenever possible, anonymization of personal data;
III - transfer to a third party, provided that the data processing requirements provided for in this Law are respected; or
IV - exclusive use of the controller, forbidden its access by a third party, provided the data is anonymised.
